At the times Sykes were looking for a fresh approach and found the honest and direct ethos of gmr very appealing.

The scope of work that Sykes and Sons covers is vast; from the Tower of London down to Dover Castle, and from the University accommodation across to the heart of the City of London.

Project Victoria

Sykes were asked by an international business to completely refurbish and reorganise their London HQ; whilst occupied and in a 6 month window.

With the site working 24/7 gmr provided a dedicate project team to manage the teams of workers that needed to be split over multiple shifts. We established a core team of qualified workers and managed them throughout the project ensuring that Sykes always had sufficient cover.

Project Fire-Door

Sykes have been working all over London and the South East on multiple fire management upgrade projects. This has covered occupied buildings in dozens of locations. We have co-ordinated with Sykes so that we have been able to move managed teams around the projects to reduce cost. Utilising Labourers, Painters, Multi-traders and carpenters helped give Sykes the flexibility they needed.
